Our Club Programs
LEARN TO SKATE
This is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners of all ages. The program focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Skaters will earn badges and other incentives. Lessons are given in a group format and led by an NCCP certified professional coach. Professional coaches are assisted by trained Program Assistants. CSA certified HELMETS ARE MANDATORY for skaters enrolled in the Canskate Program.

1 Day Membership: $300.00

FEE INCLUDES: PRACTICE ICE WEDNESDAYS 5-6PM

Skills, Tests, Achievement & Recognition – this is what this program is all about. It is a program for skaters who have obtained their Canskate badge 4 or have been recommended by a coach. This program teaches the basics of figure skating, including freeskate, dance, stroking & skills in a group lesson format.

Wednesdays – 4:30 – 6:00 pm
Fridays – 6:00 – 7:30 pm
2 Day with Group Lesson $590.00

Ice Times may change as a result of 2018 Carnival practice schedule.
PROMOTIONAL CONTEST BOOKLET
The purchase of one promotional contest booklet per family is mandatory. The $40.00 promotion fee will be collected from each family at the time of registration. It is up to each family to sell the tickets to recoup the $40.00
Payment in full at time of registration.
Or – 1/3 of the total cost is required up front, then the remaining balance may be split into 2 equal payments by providing 2 post dated cheques dated Oct. 20th 2017 and Nov. 20th, 2017.
We do accept Credit Cards & E transfers at this time.
NOTE: N.S.F. charge on returned cheques will be $35.00.
Before start of season – Full amount.
Before October 1st – (50%) fifty percent.
Refunds for medical reasons must be received in writing before October 31st, 2017 and a $40 administration fee will apply.
A $200 Volunteer Cheque is required from all Starskate, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Registrants. Cheques must be post dated to March 01, 2018. Cheques will be returned upon completion of 15 Volunteer Hours.
The Thorold Figure Skating Club is Not Responsible for any Ice Cancellations made by The City of Thorold due to ice conditions, hockey tournaments etc.
